German-Style Pilsner
A style we greatly admire, the German Pils is a masterclass in balance. Utilizing a mix of Hallertau Mittelfruh and Saphir for that quintessential noble hop bent, Jakobus is supported by a cracker-like malt character. Light bitterness, lemon, and floral notes finish with a crisp, clean mouthfeel.

Pretty solid! Clean with nice hallertauer hops coming through in the nose and flavor, nice medium bitterness. Crisp and semi-dry. Clear golden color, it ticks all the boxes for a good pils, so I'm happy.

On tap at the Thirsty Moose in Merrimack.
Brilliant medium gold color with a thin wispy white head that slowly dissipates. Crackery bready maltiness with an earthy spicy hop aroma and flavor to counter. Clean well made lager that I would like to have again.

Super nice pils. Oaky almost, bark-like. Very crisp. Golden pour with fluffy head and lacing. Snappy bitter end. Great stuff. Can.

Cask pour at Cask.on. Pale yellow with no sparkle, nice head with good retention and nice lacing. Aroma is strong pale/pilsner malts. Taste is mellow pale and Pilsner malts. Smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Not overly Pilsner.

Can: Poured a clear pale golden color lager with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of cereal notes with some light suga notes and light grainy notes. Taste is also a mix of cereal notes with some light sweet notes and herbal hops notes. Body is about average for style with good carbonation. A bit too sweet for the style.

16oz can from Tavour. A pilsner from Schilling? Bring it on! After having the Alexandr 10° and Palmovka 12° the last 2 days, I'm ready for more Schilling magic. Clear golden pour, thin cap of creamy white head, columns of carbonation, streaky lacing. Grainy aroma, bread dough. Taste is biscuity, bready, mild sweetness, full, creamy feel. Tasty, deep, velvety. Minor bitterness at the finish, almost unnoticeable.

16 oz can from Justin, thanks dude, what does mine say, 10/2/23. Clear gold, thin white head. Spice, grains, sweet bread, dough, grass, and a bit of a red berry thing. Starts off sweeter than expected, but finishes fairly dry. It's solid, but something I can't put my finger on is keeping me from going higher than this.

16 ounce can. Medium gold pour. Pillowy white head leaves spotty lacing. Fragrant aroma of fresh hay and herbal hops. Crisp, crackery malt flavor is balanced nicely by the spicy, berry-like noble hop character. Dry, bitter finish. Tasty.

Clear effervescent straw body, thin off-white head. Classic spicy, floral, grassy, biscuity nose; sharp and bright. Body sharp and tangy lemon, grass, and floral notes, with a lingering floral bitterness. Fresh and tasty.
