Old rating, 0,5l bottle shared @ Baran:
I beste fall interessant.

Bouteille 500ml. (2006)

500 ml bottle sampled in 2006. Dark reddish body with a small beige head. Aroma has something that reminds me of honey candy and caramel. Flavor is dominated by honey and feels sticky sweet and not very pleasant. Medium body and honey aftertaste. Not my kind of beer, feels unbalanced honey sweet.

Dobry i ciekawy porter. Intrygujący smak. Miód wyczuwalny w zapachu, kwiatowe aromaty także w tle. W smaku Porterowo gożki. Finisz trochę rozgrzewający i gozki. Ciekawa interpretacja Portera

Bottle at Baran, Bergen. Seems clear with a black colour, and has a small light beige head. Theres a lot of honey in the aroma along with roasted almonds and some lactose. A really one of a kind aroma, and feels almost medicinal. More roast and honey in the flavour, and some camphor. The mouthfeel is slick, and has a light bitterness. A strange beer, and is a bit indeterminate.

Bottle. Pours clear dark ruby with unstable off-white head. Excessively sweet, multiflower honey aroma. Fortunately, it tastes more of good, smoked, bitter porter rather than the aggressive honey. Very much unbalenced, but not a displeasure at all.

Bottle at the Jerusalem Tavern, Farringdon - 29/10/12. Very dark mahogony brown approaching black with a thin frothy tan head. Big honeycomb nose - literally a full on honey assault ! Tastes of honey, chocolate, malts, lavender, sweet brown sugars. Medium bodied with soft carbonation and light bitterness in the finish. Does what it says on the tin but a little on the sweet side. Pleasant enough but glad I shared this bottle!
