Klin Kokos bottle. Look: Darkbrown. Aroma/taste: Roasted cocos, powerful sweetness (like some kind of rum). Little too sweet and thin. Still a nice and interesting beer.

Bottle. Dark mahogony beer with a tan head. Toffee and atrt berry aroma with some spice. Spice, and toffee flavor with light fruit and light cocoa. Medium bodied. Spice, toffee, and light fruit lingers. Coconut becomes more pronounced as you drink more and the beer warms.

bottle, found as klin kokos in ølbutikken, pours dark brown, almost black, nice brown thick head. aroma:cocoa, coffe, faint spices. flavor :licorice, english licorice, aftertaste lingers for a long time and is dominated by bitter coffe, and roasted malts. palate : mouthfeel a bit watery, but also a bit slippery/oily. all in all okay, but not quite there.

Bottle as Klin Kokos, picked up at Olbutikken, Kobenhaven, Denmark This poured almost black in colour with a light brown head. The nose is of a hoppy bounty bar with added malibu. The alcohol carries a little and there is some spiciness but hops whilst apparent on the nose fail to shine much in the mouth. This is the first average beer that I’ve had from Nogne, Loz wasn’t impressed either.

Dark, nearly black beer, with ruby highlights around the edges - small ring of froth - vanilla and sweet cream dominate the aroma, with hints of roast, coffee, bittersweet chocolate - smooth, creamy mouthfeel - quite strong coffee-like, roasty bitterness up front, followed by some sweeter flavors, most potent of which are vanilla, but roasted marshmallow and some chocolate are evident- bitterness returns slightly in the end, bring some drier tobacco notes - a decent porter.

50 cL bottle. Pours dark bown with a reddish hue. Heavy chocolate and vanilla aroma. Ginger flavoured, overshadows the smooth chocolate and mild vanilla notes. Finish holds a bit of acidity into a nice malty and slight bitterness finish. Too dominant on the ginger spices, yet smooth chocolate flavoured.
