16 ounce can. Canned on 3/14/23. Jet black pour. Brief beige head. Roasted malt nose has big notes of chocolate, maple and bourbon. Flavoring is big and bold. Hot alcohol burn dominates upfront. Notes of dark chocolate, maple, bourbon and vanilla. Incredibly intense, but the alcohol dominates. Best sipped slowly and in small quantity.

Sampled from the tap at Northern Taphouse. Pours black with a brown head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of maple with vanilla, chocolate and bourbon supporting. Flavor has some bitter dark grains and chocolate with a growing maple, roasted malts and a touch of vanilla underlying.

Draft. Black beer with a low dark tan head. Maple and caramel aroma. Maple and caramel flavor with chocolate and light bourbon. Medium-plus bodied. Maple and caramel linger with chocolate and light bourbon.

16oz can from my brother. Near black pour, tiny ring of bubbles. Aroma is maple, sweet, roasty. Taste brings in some campfire notes, roasty, sweet, maple, vanilla and light chocolate. Full and creamy, mouth coating. In the endd though it's just way too sweet. could not finish a half pour.

Maple syrup, vanilla, chocolate malt, alcohol, hay, and wood smoke aroma. Black with small brown head. Very sweet maple syrup, vanilla, chocolate graham malt, and moderately bitter smokey wood/hay flavor. Nice body - boozy finish but like a beer at half the ABV. Very tasty but a beast.
