Für unser Aecht Schlenkerla Weichsel Rotbier trocknen wir das Malz über einem Feuer mit hochwertigem Kirschholz und nicht wie beim klassischen Rauchbier über Buchenholzfeuer. Im Gegensatz zum würzigen Buchenrauchmalz hat das Kirschrauchmalz ein fruchtiges, fast süßliches Raucharoma und sorgt für eine kupferrote Farbe im Glas. Feinster Aromahopfen ergänzt den vielschichtigen Rauchgeschmack um eine beerige Note. Mit 4,6% Alkohol ist Aecht Schlenkerla Weichsel ein vollmundiges, angenehm süffiges Bier.

Helder, roodkoper. Geur: dikke rook, lapsang souchon, tikje boter. Rn: idem, iets fruit ook. Smaak: lichtjes zoet, vleugje zurig, rokerig. Lichte body. Bitterige afdronk. Niet helemaal overtuigend wmb.

Poured into a mug.
Appearance: dark brown color with a finger's worth of eggshell white foamy head. Once it dissipated, some light messy lace stuck to my glass
Aroma: huge amount of smoked meats - somewhat ham-like, a little bit of bacon-like, some woody spice, delicate cocoa powder far underneath
Flavor: blends all the prior mentioned aromas smoky sweet and adding in a superb level of woody spice underneath; mild aftertaste of smoke, ham and woody spice
Texture: light to medium bodied; some sessionability, so smooth along my tongue, finishes smoky sweet
Overall: an absolute lovely world class Rauchbier by one of my favorite breweries. Of course, I would love to have this again.

Amber pour. Thin foam around the rim. Liquid smoke flavor with orange notes. Liquid smoke palate. Light bodied and light carbonation

Soft smoke nose. Tea colored, medium orange head, nice lace. Pecan. Light body, soft carbonation. Light on intensity and complexity, easy drinking.

Bottle shared thanks to Alexander. Clear mahogany with tan head. Starts eith smoke, slick malts, caramel, oaky, soft dried fruits. Under medium serrt and bitter. Crisp body.

Castaña, caoba limpia de bonita espuma, blanquecina, abundante y de retención media.Intenso aroma ahumado, leña, barbacoa. En boca paso facil, suave de gas. Amargor escaso. Y excelente sabor malteado, y sobre todo ahumado, marca de la casa, con recuerdo a frutas del bosque.

Minimal trübes Rotbraun im Glas; gemischtporige, relativ stabile Schaumkrone. In der Nase viel dunkle Beeren, ein schönes warmes Raucharoma, süßlich, viel Malz. Im Geschmack malzig, gut eingebundenes Raucharoma, deutliche Süße und ebenso deutliche Hopfenbittere, relativ wenig Kohlensäure, schlank - aber keinesfalls dünn.

Delikatna wędzonka szynkowa, delikatnie kwaskowe, gdzieś tam dalej słodowe. Barwa bursztynowa, przejrzysta, piana znika do krążka szybko, lacing rachityczny. Goryczka niska, ziołowa. Lekki lager wędzony z kwaskowym finiszem od wiśni. Ok i tyle

Barwa bursztynowo-czerwona, klarowne, piana w kolorze złamanej bieli, średnio obfita, średnio trwała.
W aromacie wędzonka, dym z ogniska, lekki karmel.
W smaku słodowe, karmelowe, sporo nut dymnych, wędzonych, lekkie owoce. Kontra chmielowa niewielka.
Goryczka niska, wysycenie w normie, ciało też.
Brakuje nieco pazura, ale i tak świetne piwo.

500ml bottle. Poured a clear copper colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is smoky. The flavour is moderate bitter with a dry, somewhat rich, smoky palate. A simple but well made beer.
