Frische Hefe in Komposition mit Hohenloher Spezialmalzen – ein grandioses dunkles Bier. Frisch gezwickelt ist es angenehm weich und begeistert mit einem zarten Duft von Röstnoten.

Bottle looks really good, the beer in the glass also. Dark brown, almost black, nice head. Starts mild, more and more malty-roasty with a smokey touch. Finish well balanced, still mild. Could be more intense and maybe a bit drier, but still a good beer!

Bottle. Cherry, molasses malt and hay aroma. Cloudy dark brown color with nice off-white head. Chocolate-caramel malt and hay flavor. Great body. An excellent beer - great mixture of Dunkel and Kellerbier characteristics.

Medium lasting offwhite head. Dark red body with light carbonation. Earthy toffee and wild berry aroma with syrupy straw notes. Dryish watery earthy floral perfumy taste with cinnamon notes. Mild mouthfeel. Mid-bodied. Dryish faintly tart wooden caramelly straw aftertaste. Quite nice and drinkable. (0.5l bottle from some Kiel supermarket.)
