Acceptable like the fact that salmon os relatively less expensive than most other foods in Iceland. Golden pour in a plastic cup at a roadside grill in Vik with a crappy burger that cost $20. Finished it off while walking down the beach towards the rock formations.

Clear amber beer, thin head. Light, sweet aroma. Taste is a bit sickly-sweet but when chilled it takes the edge off. Absolutely average.

Sweet mealy fruity aftertaste with herbal notes. Very little flavour, but easy to drink even so. (0.33l bottle, Vinbudin Akureyri.)

50cl can from Vínbúðin, Borganes. Pours clear straw coloured with a small, white head. Mild grainy and vegetable aroma with just a hint of hops and alcohol. Medium sweet with not much flavours to speak of and slightly unpleasant. Some bitterness is noticeable, but besides that I would say it’s hardly worth drinking.
