Apoldaer Glockenpils, Flasche von Nahkauf, Mellingen. - Goldgelb, blank. - In der Nase zart plastiksüßliches helles Malz und neutrale, industrietypische Hopfung. - Antrunk schlank und dünn mit blassem hellen Malz, leichtem Süßsauer und ausdrucksloser Hopfenherbe. Durchschnittlich rezent. Im Abgang blasse, aromatisch ruppige Bittere mit deutlichen Fehlaromen von Hopfenextrakt. Übler Nachtrunk. - Noch eine Stufe schlechter als das Apoldaer Premium Pils, was aber nicht wundert, wird es doch um 6 Cent billiger als dieses verkauft. Nur im Notfall trinkbar. (13.4.2021.)

Grassy hay-like aroma. Malty flavor with enough hop character to be noticeable. Hay-like aftertaste.

28/7/2019. Bottle in trade with Gabriel. Pours clear pale gold with a foamy white head. Aroma of sweet malt, hops, light citrus, sweet corn and straw. Medium sweetness and light bitterness. Moderate body, oily texture, bit above average carbonation. Light floral and vanilla to finish. Not bad.

Bottled, from Sagasser, Ilmenau. Clear pale golden, mid sized head. Grassy, spicy nose. Dry with light-medium body and crisp, rounded. Salty grass. Long bitter finish. Crisp, refreshing pilsner, albeit with somewhat unrefined hop profile.

getrunken im Sommer 2016 Die Brauerei Apolda hat 2 Arten von PIls im Programm: Das Pils Spezial Domi und das Glockenpils. Nach dem für mich enttäuschenden Pils Spezial Domi, waren meine Erwartungen nicht besonders hoch. Aber dies ist doch ein ganz passables Pils, zu dem man getrost greifen kann.

On tap in Green Week, Berlin on 22nd Jan 2016. Clear light golden yellow with a full, but un-lasting white head. Aroma is malty with a light grassy/hoppy hint. Flavour medium sweet and grainy with mild bitter finish. Decent and refreshing, but no outstanding features or flavours.

Bottle. Medium head with medium duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are grass, straw, malt and hops. Nice semi bitter finish.
