Barrel #24 is a former raspberry mead barrel that still retained a touch of that character and contained a blend of unnamed blonde saisons brewed with Pacifica and Southern Aroma hops. Very firm and huge just off-white head over veiled metallic golden beer. Herbs, weeds, a summer meadow with grapey overtones. Wild yeasts suggested. Sour, partly sour grapes, partly vegetables as rhubarb. Lactic acid, quite lemony. Herbs more in retreat in the flavour, and pretty clean for wild yeast. Bit tart, effervescent, refreshing, lightly lipsmacking acidity. Very good - again.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Max's place. Hazy yellow. Funk, fruitiness, oak, vinous, tart, juicy, a bit citric. Really good.

Bottle, 500 ml shared with Miro B and Max. Hazy yellow with white head. Fruity, citric, vinous, some barrel, medium sourness. Medium bodied.

Fruity, acidic, sour and tart. Vinaigrette, honeydew melon, faint red berries. Floral, sweet, a bit dry. Really interesting, could be smoother and less acidic but very nice.
