Orange color with a touch of brown. Orange aroma with some hops. Sweetish, hoppy, somewhat yeasty flavor with some orange liquor. Yeasty bitter afteratste. The aroma promises more than the flavor delivers.

Old rating from a Zythos Bierfestival years ago. Hazy golden blonde beer with medium, creamy, yellowish white head; bit grainy, dryish with somewhat thin mouthfeel, subdued fruitiness but still very yeasty especially in the finish, moderately sweet with yeasty spiciness, lightly bitter ending. Decent but forgettable, like many Belgian blondes.

Bottled (apparently a forgotten pearlof the stuff I bought from Willems in 2007). Hazy nutbrown colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is spices, sour fruits as well as some slight alcohol and yeast. Flavour is yeast, some mild wooden notes as well as yeast. As it warms up it gets some slight notes of alcohol.

Bottled 75cl @RBESG’05
Hazy blond, small creamy head, lace. Yeast, lemon and pinewood in the nose. Pinewood and hints of licorice in the flavor. Woody, (oaky), quite original Belgian brew.

(Bottle 33 cl) Hazy - but pretty - amber colour with a nice, creamy head. Lovely soft, malty flavours with a pronounced bite of hops in the finish. Almost honeyish. A nice ale indeed. 140501

[ZBF 2004] A hazy orange beer with a fine though collapsing head. The aroma is sweet malty and the so is the flavor combined with fruit especially peach. A very nice flavor.
