Samuel Adams Hefeweizen has a traditional spin on a classic American craft brewing style. This crisp, fruity wheat ale is cloudy, because the yeast has not been filtered out. Bavarian Spalt hops give the ale a crisp elegance, that is not bitter and leaves a clean aftertaste. Cheers!

Lounge beer on draft Admirals Club JFK T8. Server didn’t know what the "Sam Adams Seasonal" was but this looks and tastes like a hefe. Cloudy variegated golden yellow color. Aroma of citrus bubblegum. Taste is lightly bitter spiced wheat and cutrus, light banana. Decent choice.

12 ounce bottle. Hazy honey gold color. Frothy white head; nice lace. Lemony wheat malt nose. Flavor is yeasty wheat with clove notes. Very Bavarian in style and character. Decent.

Way too much hate given to this beer, probably due more to its maker than its actual quality. Not a great hefe, no, but drinkable as hell, offering up strong banana-clove notes while retaining a modestly bitter finish that never roams into soap territory. Yeast pops on the end, and the fade remains appreciably dry. Silky smooth texture feels just about right, and the banana-clove nose is on point. Looks beautiful, by the way, a hazed yellow gold topped by a frothy white head leaving tons o’ lace. Better than the RB average suggests.

Pours a somewhat dark for the style amber from a bottle, immediate nose of banana and cloves, similar flavor, somewhat spicy. Okay beer.

Bottle: Hazy, golden-yellow with a white head. Wheat, orange, banana scent. Taste is a bit of cardboard....wheat malt, dull citrus....overripe orange and banana, yeast. Grainy-grassy bittering... A bit unpleasant.

Bouteille 12oz.

I’m glad that they classify this as a Wheat Ale and NOT a true Hefe. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a fluffy white head that disappears quickly. Lemon citrus aroma, laced with a hint of yeast and sweet malt. Weak body reveals a lemony flavor that finishes with a hint of cloves. Needs more body, breadiness, herbal presence. Still, easy drinking and smooth. An OK starter beer. NOT Sam Adams best offering.

Refrigerated bottle poured into a glass. The color is golden and hazy. Smells like wheat and has a little head that disappear quickly. I would call this an american wheat rather than a true hefeweizen. Below average for the style. Will not buy again.

Bottle. Poured a hazy dark yellow with a medium sized white head that dissipated quickly. Aroma was full of banana and yeast notes. Flavor was light with sweet bananas and yeast.
