Golden color woth a touch of pink. Anis and mandarin curacao in the aroma. Fruity (mandarin) and spicy flavor, but especially flowery with anis and mint (too much anis, maybe). Some bitterness in the aftertaste. A bit too flowery and luscious perhaps, but not too offensive and perfectly drinkable. Same brew, 8 months later. Strong anis aroma and flavor. orange and mint. The anis character has got stronger in the past 8 months.

Typical mass-marketed top-fermented Dutch lentebok with pale yellowish, mousse-like, sticky head and deep orange-blonde colour, near amber, cristal clear. Weak bready aroma of caramel, dough, aniseed, coriander, earth, carrots, nutmeg, citrus peel and mango. Taste a light and smooth, caramelly maltiness, not really sweet, bit oily mouthfeel, drying towards the end with clear coriander (though still subtle) and a bit of hop bitterness in the finish, where a bit of the aniseed also pops up. Not the best in this particular style, but still rather enjoyable.

The colour of the bottle makes me want to cry. The beer is not that bad, but it’s just not how i like it.
