Flaske fra Voldby. Sort med et brunt beige. Aromean er ristet malt, blåbær, chokolade og fad. Den er sød og lidt tør i finnishen.

Bottled July 10, 2023, drunk 3/27/24. Clear, dark. Quickly receding, tan head. Still quite a bit of blueberry, though its only 8 months old. Chocolate, light whiskey but not very much. Not sugary. Bit of wood and no booze. A lot more bourbon in flavor with a lot less blueberry. Lots of tannin with a good bit of coconut. Good texture and good attenuation with blueberry acidity lingering. I kind of hate the blueberry. Would 100% prefer it not be here. It is overdone.

Bought locally, bottled July 11th 2023.
It pours black with 2 fingers of tan foam, very good head retention and lacing.
The smell is roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, some fruitiness..blueberries ( a difficult fruit for me to pick out), and Bourbon.
The taste is roasted malt, yeah, definitely blueberries which are much more in my face than in the smell. Chocolate, vanilla, easy on the coffee. Somewhat sweet, no real bitterness. Nice and smooth, alcohol is well hidden.
Luxurious mouthfeel, this is a winner in my book. Sadly, my last bottle.

Bottle from the Packie. Inky black color with a small quickly fleeting tan head. Roasty brown sugary licorice coffee and oaked bourbon with a bit of berry vinous notes.

12oz bottle pours with a deep dark mahogany colored body that supports a thin tan head of foam. The aroma offers up sweetened dark chocolate bleeding into a thin layer of dark roasted malts, a bit of reduced sugar like molasses and then faint berries. The taste delivers smooth dark chocolate that transition into a blend of milk chocolate and increasing dark roasted maltiness. To midway the moderate level of blueberry joins in and adds some or is about neutral to the experience. The booze is very well hidden. Nice.
