18/2/2024. Bottle from Blackout Brewing. Romania rating #100. An Imperial Dark Ale. Appeared a little thinner than Iād expected on the pour, but finished up super attractive almost black with a good size creamy tan coloured head. Aroma is coconut, vanilla, creamy chocolate, dark roasted malt, Jamaican rum cake, sozzled dried fruits, touch of cinnamon. Quite sweet, with mellow boozy bitterness. Medium to full bodied, silky smooth, waxy and a little clammy. Soft carbonation. Super beer to bring up the century for Romania.
