--Sample, thanks fonefan! --Clear mahogany colour, minimal head. Aroma of treacle, licorice and grain. Sweet with medium to full body and rounded mouthfeel. Salmiak, brandy and coffee. Warming finish.

Sample (thanks fonefan!). Deep amber colour, small brown head. Aroma is liquorice, some roasted and mild vanilla tones woth a wee bit of wood too. Flavour is toffee, roast, some mild lactose with a bit of alcohol and some dried fruity tones. Smooth.

ABV: 7.6%. Clear medium to dark red brown colour with a small average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, toasted - roasted, dark malt, sweet malt, brown sugar, light licorice. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, dark malt, sweet malt, sweet dark malt, toasted - roasted - chocolate, ash - burnt, light licorice. Body is medium, texture is oily - creamy, carbonation is soft. [20221216]
