Draught at Horsens beerfestival. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Amber colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Powerfull flavor. Long finish. Oily palate, a really good beer, but is it a pilsener?

Golden, almost brown. Some malt in the weak nose. A decent amount of hop bitterness in the flavour, but not too impressive.

Amber lazing nice white head - too dark en color for a pils, but not counting the style beutiful. The aroma is sweet fruity with some notes of caramel and straw. The flavor is a weird mixture of caramel, metal, straw, fruit, and caramel, leading to a dry metallic end. This beer has no idea where it wants to go - but top and bottom fermented, entered into a pilsner contest (and the winner), this is one weird beer.

(On tap) Clear, fully golden with an off-white head. Fresh, hoppy nose. Medium-bodied with quite some malty sweetness, a whiff of caramel and quite some fruitiness. Lightly hoppy. Quite a harmonious and pleasant brew. Disgraceful though that this was allowed in a pilsener contest. 200506

[Draught at Københavnske Øldage] Clear pale golden, Aroma of dried pineapples. medium sweet with rounded mouthfeel. Evident almond yeast character. Well crafted, but lacks the levels of complexity required for a Belgian ale. Still a good beer. Sadly this beer was labelled a pilsener, and as the ultimate insult to pilseners this fruity, yeasty ale won the pilsener contest at Københavnske Øldage.
