Pours pitch black with a small brown layer. Aroma's of bourbon, fudge, sweet chocolate, roast, wood, a bit of red fruit. Retronasal: boozy, alcohol, fruity, bourbon, fudge. Flavour is above moderate sweet, chocolatey. Alcohol feel is moderate, not hot at all. Above medium bodied. Low carbonation. Long finish with wood, charcoal, dryness, light bitter.

On tap at Beer Temple, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out intense bourbon barrels, vanilla, oak, and light roast. Flavour is rich, with big bourbon barrel notes, plenty of vanillin, oak, and medium roast. Balanced but massive, with huge bourbon notes on the finish. Excellent.

During Jackie O's TTO after MBCC first day. Shared with Phill, Balder, Will, Brian, and Ryan. Dark fruits, plums, raisins. Barrel. Pretty good.

Tap at Peders, Copenhagen. Color is almost Black with very small brownish head. Aromas and flavors: Bourbon, some sugary sweetness, roasted malts... pretty simple

Tap.Black colour with small head.Aroma of bourbon and earth vanilla and chocolate,smooth creamy with note of wood and roasted malt.

Bottle shared by Chris & Kelly at the February 2023 PS tasting, 2/11/23. Black, thin brown head, good retention. Aroma of baker’s chocolate, roast, coffee, vanilla. Taste is roast, sweet chocolate, vanilla, oak. Mild booze. Nice.
