Bomber shared by Joen. Many thanks! Opaque pitch black color, virtually no head. Aroma is malts, bourbon, lightly raisins. Flavor is malts, dark malts, raisins, bourbon, vanilla. Delicious beer. Very well balanced. It just doesn't need to be more than this. Keep it (rather) simple.

Sampled from the tap at Lucille’s. Pours near black with a chocolate brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has strong roasted malts and barrel with a bitter dark grain note underlying. Flavor has bitter dark grains and roasted malts with some chocolate and barrel in the finish.

Bottled at the RBESG 23 grand tasting, final beer of the tasting! Blackish body, light tan head. Slightly oxidized-seeming chocolate and brown sugar aroma. Soft, light taste, coconut, chocolate and carob, quite soft, dried peach too, fair bit of alcohol too. Not bad!
