Bottiglia. Il gusto al naso è indirizzato verso miele e caramello. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera normale e l'esistenza olfattiva è sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma non è molto persistente. Le bollicine sono grandi. La parte liquida si presenta velata. Il colore è ambrato scarico. Il corpo è rotondo. Il dolce è pesante. L'amaro è di media potenza. La forza gustativa è elevata e si prolunga in modo sufficiente. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di facile beva. Il finale è semplice e dissetante. Il retrogusto è di media intensità. In bocca l'aroma è quello di caramello, miele di rododendro, crosta di pane, frutta secca, un accenno di resinoso quasi balsamico, agrumi e arancia.

Pours darker than golden with amber hints, a bit of haziness. Average sized white head, shows good retention and some lacing. Not very intense but pleasant aroma: a clean cerealy malts base with a hint of straw, a relatively strong and natural feeling honey note (kind of fatty), very light fruity hints (apple? orange?), a hint of spiciness. Taste feels quite vivid, nicely clean and defined. Malty and honey base as per aroma, very light fruitiness, spiciness a bit more vivid than the aroma suggested, mostly felt in aftertaste. A quite sweet beer overall but never with a cloying feel and the finish is decently dry with the slightest floral hops hint. Medium body, average carbonation (one step higher in carbo than your average german bock), quite quaffable for the abv and decently lively. A well made bock with a nice twist.

--Keg at the brewpub. -- Clear mahogany colour, mid sized head. Bready nose. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Caramelly bread, notes of tropical blossom and black pepper. Mid bitter finish.

Appearance: Bottled 7/7-2015. Caramel brown, slightly hazy. Ok amount of off-white head.
Aroma: Strong butterscotch, some malt.
Taste: Strong butterscotch again, then malt. Slight tartness. One-dimensional.
