To create a great refreshing fruit beer St. Peter's, Grapefruit used as the basis of wheat beer brewed at the brewery. Savory, juicy grapefruit tones are felt in the flavor and the taste of beer, blending in harmony and balance with notes of hops and malt. More: https://eng.winestyle.ru

500ml bottle from Waitrose. Attractive bright amber colour with a thin white head; initial whiff of grapefruit when opening, but otherwise a strongly malt aroma; full fruity taste, with orange and grapefruit notes and a slightly oily feel; then more bitter grapefruit towards the finish, ending up with a bitter tang but also a rather sweet sensation. Interesting.

Re-rateGravity cask at the Jerusalem Tavern, Clerkenwell. Even better than bottled, fresh and clean with a delightful grapefruit bite.

Cask at The Jerusalem Tavern. Something of a peach? aroma. Orange amber color with an off-white head. The flavor is grapefruit rind, turning into something woody/herbal. Almost spicey. Almost woody. Strange, but very good. Finishes dry and bitter with a touch of old leather. Weird, but very good.

Bottled. Golden colour, small head. Aroma is barnyard and wood. Flavour is mainly cooked vegetables with hints of grapefruit. Also some malts. Aftertaste is dryish hops along with grapefruit. The fruity hints are the best, but the rest is not too nice.

Copper with a white head. Grapefruit aroma, unsurprisingly of the plain grapefruit juice kind. Dry and bitter. Why make this when we have all the beautiful American hops?
