A lightly hazed brown ale with a thick lacing light moka head. a light sourish sweet aroma, with light Brett notes, cherries, not bad. In mouth, an interesting beer with sweet licorice, sour fruits, but thin bodied. Bottle from Piscator, BB 18-09-09, shared with probstk, Sept. 1 2009. Thanks Kris.

Bottle: Poured a deep amber and slightly hazy ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of dry fruits such as figs and raisins, some sweet malt but alcohol ester. Taste is also dominated by some dry fruits characteristics and some sweet malt but is just too boozy at the end of the day. Body is somewhat too thin for the style with good carbonation too much alcohol was apparent.

Bottle. Aroma is lightly sour, a bit vinous. Near mahogany in color with a vigorous white head that didn’t persist. Thin to medium body with fizzy carbonation. Flavor is sort of berry, sort of sourish, sort of fruity. It is really dry. The bitter seems to be like chewing berry seeds. Seems balanced. Quite a different drink, but I’d appreciate it on a desert island.

Bottled. Hazy ruby red colour, small white head. Aroma is mild red/dark berries with some slight cereals anbd grassyness. Flavour is quite exactly the same. Some fruity sweeetness in aftertaste.

Bottled (BB 10/2008)
Dark hazy nut brown color, not much head - a bit like dark sahti. Similar berry nose than in many other "Greens"-beers (strawberry, red currant). Very similar to Endeavour, just slightly smoother and softer. Unbalanced berry flavors (strawberry and red currant again).
