(33cl bottle, courtesy of Papsoe) Slightly hazy, dark amber colour with a mid-sized, light-beige head. Dusty, sweet and toasty malty nose with milk chocolate and a touch of caramel. Sweet flavour, medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Toasty malty taste with notes of caramel/toffee; sweet and slightly bitter finish with a toasty and nutty malt-character and a touch of alcohol shining through.

500ml bottle from Høgeren, Copenhagen. Nice rusty brown body topped by a thin off-white head. The smell is characterised by dark fruits. Dominant malty presence in taste supported by tart fruits and a dry bitter touch in the end. Smooth palate (Copenhagen, 03.08.2007).

Draught at Københavnske Øldage. Clear nut brown. Restrained crystal malt aroma. Medium sweet with cleran mouthfeel and medium body. Some caramel, hay and pine nnedles. Low bitterness. Nothing is really wrong, but it’s also not very good.

Clear reddish brown color, short off-white head. Aroma of some amber malt, some hop. Sweet malty and grainy taste, sugar. The guy at Hokeren gave it to me for free: I understand nobody buys this beer.

33 cL bottle. Pours red to hazzlenut brown with a huge off-white head. Brewmash aroma. Flavour is sweet malty, almost canesugar and with citric note. The sweetness goes into a slight dry hop finish.
