Straight from the lagertank at the brewery. Lovely powerful grassy aroma, with a touch of citrus. Malty, somewhat grassy pleasant hopbitter flavor. Maybe a bit thin, but a very well brewed beer with the emphasis on hop character. Bottle, bought at the brewery. Orange blonde, cloudy. Orange, traubenzucker and milk in the aroma. Somewhat tart flavor with grapefruit, traubenzucker and mandarine curacao. Slightly flowery. Hint of alcohol. Medium bodied. Less hop character as I had straight from the lager tank, but it is there, especially in the aftertaste. Good!

30cl bottle from trade with fonefan, many thanks! Pours hazy golden with a medium good lasting white head. Aroma of ripe fruits, pale malt, some honey and caramel. Taste is sweet malty, honey, spices.

Bottle @ home. Hazy yellow to orange color, medium to full sized a bit creamy white head that lasts for a long time. Smell malts, lightly bitter, slightly dust. Taste light to moderately malts, lightly dusty, lightly bitter, some kind of fruity touch, I’m guessing apricot. Average body, a bit too highly carbonated.

Blond beer with an unusual taste of herbs and spices, even a hint of pepper. Dryish sweet, quite good.

Tap @ Drie Dorstige Herten. Clear yellow colour, white head. Nose is yeasty, nutty, spicy, caramel. Flavour is light malted, nutty, spicy, nutmeg. Not as good as the original La Chouffe.

Bottle sample at a tasting at avrashi’s place. Thanks ThreeCats. Clear pale golden. Spicy aroma with yeast and overripe fruits. Sweetish flavor with malt, a bit of honey, light fruitiness and a dry finish with faint bitterness. Medium-bodied.
