Quite good with nice roasted malts up front but off balance with the strong vanilla and soy sauce aftertaste.

473ml can. Opaque, darkest brown colour with average to huge, thick, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, beige to tan head. Sweet-ish, minimally perfumed, chocolately, dark malty aroma, hints of vanilla and coffee, some caramel, smoky overtones. Taste is sweet and bitter, dark and slightly caramel malty, minimally perfumed, hints of hundreds and thousands, vanilla, some coffee, smoky interludes. Slightly creamy, watery texture, indifferent palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation. Slightly disharmonious, imbalanced, almost a tad artificial due to the vanilla - I like the smoky aspect/effect best though not really matching the rest.

16 oz can poured. Dark and dense near black pour, tons of dark tan foam head. Flavor is rich with milk chocolate. Smooth tasting imperial. Sweetness outlasts a noticeable dark chocolate bitterness. Rich dessert chocolate finish, boozy but not over the top. Good imp stout.

--Sample, thanks fonefan! -- Black, beige head. Aroma of vanilla and coffee. Sweet with full body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Bitter coffee, caramel and chocolate, some vanilla. Malt bitter finish.

Sample (thanks fonefan!). Pitch black colour, small off-white head. Aroma is chocolate, smoked wet wooden tones with coffee and some mild herbal and mild vanilla tones. Flavour is chocolate, cacao, some coffee and mild vanilla with some wooden tones. Alcohol quite evident when becoming warmer.

ABV: 9.5%. ✅ Clear dark black brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, dark malt, sweet malt, cocoa, light molasses - brown sugar, moderate chocolate and coffee. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter with a long duration, dark malt, cocoa, chocolate, chocolate - coffee, roasted, vanilla, malt bitter. Body is medium to full, texture is oily - creamy, carbonation is soft. [20230317]
