2006 bottle, 10.0%. Malty and peppery aroma, syrupy and slightly rough from the alcohol. Hazy brown colour, small tan head. The flavour is quite powerful. Quite yeasty, sweet, with caramellized sugar. Distinct bitterness in the finish, more like alcohol bitterness than hop bitterness. Alcoholic flavour goes all the way to the finished and is not quite balanced even though the beer is sweet and malty.

[Draugt at Γlbaren] Red brown beer with off white head. Sweet malty aroma with plums, toffee and spices. Sweet flavor with overripe fruits and a alcoholic finish. Rather boozy and unbalanced.

Bottled. Dark copper coloured, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is spices, alcohol and some caramel malts. Flavour is sweet malts, spices, alcohol and some caramel. One of the more boring Mikkeller beers Iβve had.

Bottle Chris_o Shindig. Too much everything. Too malty, too sweet. The least impressive of the Mikkeller beers that I have had.

Hazy amber. Full body. Fat, tangy, chewy malt aroma. Balanced on the palate with big chewy malts, lots of English hops, caramel, and earth. Not a standout but well-made.

Bottle. Thx to Papsoe. Almost clear, copper-colored beer with a beige head. Some spices, roasted malt, caramel, alcohol and a little bitterness makes the aroma. The flavor has some spicyness, roast, alcohol, hops and some dried fruits. Full, warming body. Alcohol and spices in the finish. A cute little Christmas beer. Rating: 7-4-7-4-15-3.73 070510
Bottle. It pours a clear, dark copper body topped by a small, beige head. Lots of alcohol on the nose, quite fruity too. Banana actually, as well as caramel, spiced notes and an understandable touch of oxidation. Dried fruits, caramel, some berries, oxidation and spices, as well as a pleasant bitterness. Warming and full-bodied, finishing with a lasting bitterness. Still nice, after four years. 101229

(Bottle 65 cl) Clear, warm, amber golden with a beige head. Vinous aroma with some dried and some overripe fruit and quite some detectable alcohol. Quite full in body with very fruity accents - dried and overripe whereas the spices are rather downplayed. The finish is full of warming alcohol but low in bitterness. I still believe this will improve a lot with some age put on it. 090507
