Bottle courtesy of thewolf: Poured a medium brown color ale with a small foamy head with average retention and lacing. Aroma of sweet malt with some subtle notes of cookie dough. Taste of light cookie dough and brown sugar was also noticeable but a bit shy for the style. Brown sugar could also be detected as well as some dry plums and figs. I was expecting a bit more complexity and was slightly disappointed. The body was about average and no alcohol was discernable. Interesting take on the style but still not close to the top beers of this style.

Dark brown color; creamy head. Immediately an aroma of apples spread in the room; there is also an aroma of caramel, of nutmeg, of strong Belgian Ale. The flavor is based on the caramel; the body is not too strong, the alcohol is, so it may not be suitable for ageing. Quite strong ending bitterness. Two sips and my head is already spinning… truly Belgian.
The bottle is a gift from Keller, if I remember…

Bottle - Thanks to Jeppe for bringing this to Belgium
Muddy, brown body. Off-white creamy head. Aroma of oranges and subtle american hops (cascade) but not aggressively. Heavily bitter, lightly sweet flavour. Very complex and well balanced flavour. Yummie.

Shortlived creamy, yellowish head over hazy Bordeaux-brown beer with orange highlights. Vinous nose, some alcohol and quite fruity: oranges/citrus, but also cherries and plums, and vaguely something like Vicks’ vapor rub. Dry, woody, liquorice in the taste, velvet and, more discreet, fruit. Quite spicey too. I seem to get some meaty esters. After a short time, a little back-breastbone fire betrays the alcohol. Slick texture, well bodied, and perceptible carbonation. Very good winter warmer, suitably complex. Once more, big thanks to Jeppe and Carlo for the Mikkeller stash.

Amber orange with a red hew and little white head. Malty aroma (Roasted) (caramel) and taste with hoppy touches. Christmas spices (cloves and easy coriander). Warmth from alcohol. Filling body. Hoppy lasting finish. Complete & complex. Great christmas brew! My 4th Mikkeller experience was dope once again!!

66 cL bottle. Pours amber red, clear with little off-white head. Initial smell reveals a beer with everything Christmas. First sip: pinewood needles! followed by almost too many notes to mention, but sweet yet spicy syrup/caramel, roasted malt. Some bitterness in the aftertaste. Alcohol can be tastet, but is very well hidden beneath the strong spice notes.
