Draft: Poured a hazy yellow reddish lambic with a thin lacing head. Aroma of tart funky ester with some tart cassis notes. Taste is also a mix of tart cassis notes with some tart funky ester. Body is about average with good carbonation. Enjoyable but not as complex as I had expected.

(On tap @ Griendel, Quebec City, Sep 29/22) Pours hazy reddish orange with a thick stable whitish head and lace. Aroma of fresh black currant, red forest berries, soft lactic acidity, moderate wood and some barnyard funk. Flavour is medium red berries, kind of a lingonberry vibe, low pink grapefruit acidity, touch of jammy sweetness, light funk, drying finish. Medium body, smooth moderate carbonation. Not the punchiest cassis flavour but it's a pretty nice variant.

Keg at Muted Horn, Berlin, 23/07/22. Raspberry red with a light crimson cap that thins to a swirl. Nose is tarte berry fruits, funk, wood must, berry pips, hedgerow, herb, sharp blackcurrants. Taste comprises damp cloth, funk, berry compote, herb, pissy red berries, damson, blackcurrant tang. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close with a balanced acidic rise. Solid.

(Keg at Pikkulintu Ruttopuisto, 20220621) The beer poured reddish amber and cloudy. Its head was small and white. Aroma had tartness, fruitiness and black currant. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were tartness, black currant, wood, sourness and bitterness. Aftertaste had tartness, berries and wood. A complex and delicious tart brew.
