On tap at Popeye, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out a nice simcoe hop character that melds decently with the Belgian yeast — so far, so good. Flavour is surprisingly good for a non-Belgian tripel, with piney hops, some soft floral notes and a nice Belgian yeast expression. Smooth, nicely hopped, cohesive and a good utilization of the Belgian yeast. Damn, a Belgian tripel from Japan that's good — impressive.
