Bottle. CO2 aroma with some rough hoppiness to it. Dark golden colour, big unstable white head. Very peppery, alcoholic flavour. Rough bitterness in aftertaste. The mouthfeel is a bit thick. This is a Maibock with European Strong Lager tendencies.

(bottle) Clear golden colour with a mid-sized foamy white head. Honeyish malty aroma with a strong herbal hoppy note, also slightly grassy. Bittersweet flavour, only a short and dry maltiness upfront, medium body, medium to low carbonation; uncommonly strong bitter finish, even for a Maibock, with a nice herbal hoppiness. Not particularly round and complex, but very tasty and deceptive.
