As you may know, we celebrate the end of each calendar year by brewing a big beer for sharer bottles and keg.
This year's edition of Curtains is an 11.0% thick and indulgent imperial stout, conditioned for four weeks on a heap of toasted coconut.
It might taste a bit like a certain chocolate bar, but we'll let you be the judge of that.

Bottle thanks to Ashton McCobb. Pours dark brown with a thin tan head. Aromas of creamy chocolate, orange and dried mint. Taste is chocolate, caramel, orange. Vinous, and strangely thin, maybe that's the high abv?

75cl bottle from Hoptimism. Appearance - dark brown to black and opaque. Creamy tan to fawn head. Nose - creamy chocolate, orange and weirdly I get a mint note. Taste - chocolate, caramel and orange liqueur. Palate - creamy and medium bodied. Decent linger. Overall - good but no way does this taste nearly 15%.
