Keg at The Deer's Head, Belfast, 15/11/2024.
Pitch black topped with a lasting khaki head.
Nose is roast malts, chocolate biscuit, charr, toffee.
Taste comprises dried fruit rinds, biscuit, toasted brown sugars, cocoa powder.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close.
Tidy enough stout if perhaps running a little sweet for my liking.
