A classic red ale - well rounded with malt biscuit flavours. The addition of new world hops gives it a slight fruity finish.

Keg at The Deer's Head, Belfast, 15/11/2024.
Reddish amber topped with a lasting beige head ... some lacing follows.
Nose is dried fruit esters, caramel wafer, biscuit malts.
Taste comprises dried fruit rinds, faint red berry nip, toffee, brown bread.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close.
Decent enough malt forward exponent of the style.
