An Imperial Baltic Porter aged in Marsala and Liqueur d'expedition barrels.
Taste: Sweet chestnut and pressed concord grapes blends with notes of cinder toffee and dried cherry. A rich and elegant expression of a baltic porter that confidently shows why good things are worth waiting for.
Appearance: Jet black with a mocha-head.
Nose: Rich blackberry and red grapes jump out the glass, with a hint of dessert wine.
Malts: Pilsner zero, Pale malt, Munich malt, Carafa special t-2, Red rye crystal, Cara pale. Oat malt, Special B, Chocolate malt, Cara 300, Dark sugar
Hops: Columbus, Northern Brewer, HBC 472

From a 330ml bottle on 1/6/2024. Pours a deep brown with no head. The nose is dark chocolate, caramel, and berries, and a dash of sweet red wine. Tastes of all the preceding along with some red grape and roasted malt , in a lightly tart moderately bitter finish. Fairly sweet and decently boozy. Has an oily palate with soft carbonation. A very nice winter sipper.

Black pour with a small tan head. Aromas of raisin/sweet wine, oak, dried berries, a hint of vanilla. Taste is Red wine/port, cherries, red berries, cocoa, wood/oak, again a bit of vanilla. Slightly boozy finish. Very nice.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Plus, Culemborg. Black with a thin beige head. Cherry chocolate aroma with some oak, dried fruits, vanilla and dark caramel. Sweet taste with a long lasting malt bitter finish. Great sipper.

A black beer with a tan head. Aroma of red wine barrel, very dark fruits, strong dark malt, cherries, wood. Taste of roasted dark malt, vanilla, red wine barrel, coffee, some raisins.

Subdued aroma, apples, roasted malts, booze, wood in the aroma 7 Flavor is roasted malts,fruity apple like note, syrup, dark caramel, coffee, chocolate. quite a lot of fruity notes in the flavor, not so much roasted malts, almost have notes normally found in quad 8
