19oz can @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, Sep 23. Pours a clear amber with a frothy off-white head. Big piney resin aroma. Flavour profile is intensely piney sweet with a robust bitterness. Bringing back good memories of 2013-era craft.

355ml can. Opalescent, orange golden colour with average, frothy to creamy, osteoporosing, moderately lacing, minimally sulphureous, white head. Condensed, slightly juicy, citrusy fruity and resinous, piney, hoppy aroma, pale and caramel malty background, notes of lemon, grapefruit, orange. Taste is surprisingly restrained and monotonous, condensed, bitter, citrusy fruity and piney hoppy, pale and slightly caramel malty basis with some residual sweetness, hints of lemon, grapefruit, orange, mandarine; lingering, bitter hoppy finish. Oily texture, smooth and soft, minimally greasy palate, fine, soft, mildly prickly carbonation. Condensed, relatively simple and monotonous - decent.

Poured a copper color with a medium sized, slightly thick white head. Aroma was resin, tropical fruit hops, with citrus, and malts. Flavor was well balanced, with a nice hop kick to it. Pine, citrus, sweet malts. Quite good!

Stovepipe can from The Gull, North Vancouver; 28 Mar 2023, 4.5 months old
Golden colour, clean. Malt and candied fruit in the aroma. Bold structure, moderate sweetness, with a juicy malt base; the bitterness is not even excessive, and the hops come with some orange and candied fruit character; definitively some alcohol in the finish, but not too hot.
Midway between old style and new style, very good. --- Beer merged from original tick of Atomic Torpedo on 19 Jun 2022 at 03:49 - Score: Appearance - 10 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7. Original review text: Can from Elizabeth Station, Bellingham, WA, via Sergey
Light amber colour, clean, with medium head. Aroma of caramel, pine resin, some sweat and weed. Good body strength, lean, with light residual sweetness; moderate caramel flavour, with piney resins, and mild herbaceous character.
Good, but I'm unimpressed; it's a solid DIPA, rather old style even if well brewed.
