Swing top bottle. Blonde color, no head. Malty aroma with hints of butter and traubenzucker. Malty flavor with marzipan and hints of pear and flowers. Just a bit perfumed. Decent beer.

Schön süffig-süßlich. Leicht herb-hopfig, aber nicht sehr penetrant. Schön wärmend-malzig, aber doch etwas zu laff. Trotzdem durchaus empfehlenswert!

The bottle looks really good, the beer in the glass could be a little bit more zippy. Starts very strong, alcoholic, malty and dry. Becomes then almost washy, the finish is vapid. Not good for a festbier!

Test vom 10.5.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 6,5,5,3,11,5 - 5,10

Flip-top bottle: Golden coloured, no head to speak of, visible carbonation; faint sweet-malty, but mainly cardboardy nose; delicate sweet flavour, astonishingly light-bodied for a brew of 5.8%; faint sweetish-soapy finish with a light bitterness in the aftertaste. A beer of rather poor quality...........

(swing top bottle) Clear, golden colour, no head. Sweetish malty aroma with hints of marzipan. Malt-accented flat taste, slightly sweet, medium to light bodied, almost no carbonation, medium-dry, malty, light bitter and short finish. Guess, I have to get another sample, this one was almost disgusting.
