A blonde lager with a thick lacing white head. In aroma, weird spiced adjunct, lightly sweet and cloying, creamed corn. In mouth, a cloying sweet malt with loads of alcohol, butter, not very good. Can at Mondiale 2011, June 11 2011.

Medium white head. Paleish yellow body. Syrupy grainy alcoholic aroma with grassy mealy notes. Dry-sweetish malty mealy oily taste with apple notes. Full body. Slick, buttery mouthfeel. Dry grassy spicy aftertaste with buttery toffee notes. This is at least half-decent. (0.5l can, Carrefour, Langeais.)

Can from a shop on Turbigo in Paris. Medium gold color with a foamy white head. Aromas of malt and light fruit: Medium body with frothy carbonation. With the light fruit it’s actually rather pleasant until the nasty fusil oil flavor kicks in. That’s one sign of a true malt liquor.

Can, poured into a pint glass. Looks light gold with a thin white head. Smells slightly sour and very light. Flavor is sweet with some grassy flavors. Not a whole lot of bitterness. Easy to drink but pathetically boring
