Bottled. Orangeish red colour with small head. Aroma is raspberries. Flavour is weak raspberry, and nothing else. Empty and very watery beer. Still it has a mouthdrying finish.

Hazy red, small white head, some lace. A bit artifical-like sweet framboise aroma, hints of sourness. Light, sweetish rasberry flavor with a bit of sourness. Like all of these Brussels-series: no need to drink again although are not totally hopeless.

(Bottle 25 cl) Pierre Celis is known as the man who reintroduced Belgian witbier in Hoegaarden, and since then he’s been a great innovator with several projects. This is one of them. A line of fruitbeers based on witbier. It’s been seen before, but with 30% fruit, this much be one of the fruitiest ones. Beautiful rose color and a rather handsome and stable head. Apparent raspberry-aroma and a strange sourness, that made me think of lambic. 080804

Pinkish tinted, collapsing foam, irregular; hazy brown-red beer. Not very convincing raspberry nose, as very sweet raspberry jam. Slight acidity, pleasing with obvious raspberry flavours. Much better taste than some of this twisted children's drinks. Some body's there. Acidburn, though mild. All in all, not bad. Makes the Celis link believable. Compared to some other recent horrors in this 'style', it might even appear great.

Hazy red color. Real raspberry aroma; pleasant taste, but less fruity.

A very red unclear beer with a pink disapearing head. The aroma is a very sweet raspberry aroma - too sweet for my liking. The flavor is artificial raspberries - and too powerful of raspberries. Not a good interpretaion of a Framboise - even though the idea was Pierre Celis'.
