Bottle: Chestnut coloured, mid-sized, slowly diminishing fluffy off-white head; complex nose: honey, sweet-malt, caramel, toasted malt, distinctive herbal hoppiness too; medium bodied, sweet, distinctive bitter flavour, creamy mouthfeel; sweetish finish with a lingering hoppy aftertaste. Well balanced, tasty.......Wow, what a good franconian stuff !!!

(Bottle 50 cl) Comes simply as "Hetzelsdorfer Festbier". Pours a clear amber with a bubbly and dissipating off-white head. Lightly caramelish nose. Medium body with notes of caramel. Dry, hoppy finish. Lovely. 190206

An amber beer with a dying white head. The aroma is slightly alcoholic and caramelic. The flavor is malty with primary notes of caramel, leading to a light dry hoppy end.

Primär herber Antrunk, der von getreidigem und semigen Hopfen unterstützt wird. Später kristallisiert sich die Herbe hier stärker heraus, nicht außer Acht lassen sollte man dann auch die daran hängende Bitterkeit. Angenehm aber von der Bitterkeit heruntergespielt wird ein leichtes Erdnussaroma, das wohl aus dem Hopfen resultiert und somit den verbliebenen Rest davon darstellt. Süß-würziger Abgang, in dem das genannte Aroma die Hauptrolle spielt Insgesamt unspektakulär. 10/9/9/9/8/9
