Rated as "Weihnachts-Festbier". Hellbraune Farbe, würzig-malziger Antrunk, zu dem sofort eine deutlich spürbare Herbe tritt. Der Hauptteil ist toll herb-röstmalzig-aromatisch, leicht süßlich. Zum Nachgeschmack hin dominiert die Herbe, leicht röstmalzige und auch malzig-süßliche Komponenten treten hinzu und halten sich noch lange auf der Zunge.

Orange-gelbe Farbe, geringe Schaumkrone. Geruch malzig, süß, leicht getreidig. Geschmack leicht malzig süß, würzig.

Bottled. Amber colour, small sightly off-white fluffy head. Aroma is bread, some slight sweet malts, herbs and mild toasted maltiness to it. Flavour is rather similar in a good balance. This beer actually probably would suit a food table better, than just drinking it on it’s own.

As Weihnachtsfestbier. Amber colour with a creamy head, and the aroma has notes of dusty straw and sweet grain. The flavor is moderately sweet with notes of grain.

50cl bottle, BBE 02/2012. Poured copper color with a thin white head. Aroma is bready, some caramel malt as well as weak roasted notes. Flavor is caramel, bready notes and roastedness in finish. Slightly dry finish. Good session beer.

Bottle, Weihnachts-Festbier. Deep amber, golden foam. Fresh grassy, apple and honey aroma. Light spicy, fruity fat malt, heather honey, grass in the finish. Dry mouthfeel, chewy body. Spicy aftertaste. Nice.

bottle, as Weihnachtsfestbier, traded with wastl. Clear chestnut-red-golden colour with a mid-siozed white head. Herbal hoppy nose. Full-bodied, lovely malty background with lots of spicy and herbal hops with hints of oak and resin. Delicious beer.

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. But it’s darker than exspected. Starts hoppy and dry, the finish is maltier, a bit roasty-smoky, the aftertaste a bit moldy. Very drinkable and good beer!

(bottle, as Jubiläumsbier 1000 Jahre Hetzelsdorf 1007-2007) Clear, amber to copper colour with a short, slightly off-white foamy head. Slightly dusty, light-sweet toast-malty aroma with honey, a tinge of caramel and delicate herbal hops. Light-sweet flavour, medium body, moderate carbonation. Toast-malty, slightly fruity taste with light notes of caramel; balanced malty and moderately bitter hoppy finish.
