Bottle from Beers Of Europe. Pours a very dark brown almost black colour with a large creamy beige head. Lively carbonation, nice lacing. Nice looking beer. Aromas of roasted malts, toasted bread, nuts, bananas, cloves and dark fruits. Taste has the same notes again as the aroma. Fairly light bodied with a smooth very slightly oily mouthfeel. Nice refreshing fruity finish. Very good and slightly unusual Wheat Beer.

Bottle (5.1% ABV) from Beers Of Europe. Murky amber body with a thick beige head. Steady carbonation. Good lacing. Aroma of earth and biscuit. Flavour of tea, brown bread and dried grass. Medium body with a creamy texture. Soft fizz. A good example of the style.

Deep dark brown color, cloudy. Thin off-white head. Strong banana flavor with some caramel. Rather sweet and thin. Hint of coffee.

Coole Bügelflasche. Extrem dunkle Farbe - fast schwarz.

0,5 l swing top bottle as Kapuziner Hefe Dunkel Naturtrüb. An unclear darkest red brown with an huge pale beige head in the glass. Low sweet fruity smell. Taste has some orange fruity sweetness at the start getting more dry later. Little bit roasty, little bit sulfur, low yeasty. Not that typical Hefeweizen taste at all.

Bottle from Edeka, Rothenburg. (18/5/19, BB: 26/4/19.) Pours hazy brown-reddish with a quickly thinning, frothy, tan head. Aroma of toast, peanut, dried fig, tobacco, caramel, pear, clove, 'Pomme d'Amour', cake. Taste is light to medium malty sweet, restrained caramel & cake supporting dark fruits (fig, raisin) & some banana, a bit smoky-toasty with sourish wheat, metallic accent, bitter tones of clove & pepper, leading to a dry, herbal hoppy finish, lingering maltiness of dark fruits & cake, tad metallic again. Light to medium body, slick texture, fizzy carbonation. Hugely drinkable Dunkelweizen but feels too thin in the end.
