(Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm, 17 Nov 2008) Dark brown colour with ruby hints. Creamy, lasting, pale brown head. Malty, roasted, nose with notes of dark rye bread, dark fruit, prunes and raisins. Malty, roasted taste with dark bread, coffee, chocolate, dried fruit, prunes and a spicy bitterness (Christmas spices) in the finish. Medium body, balanced sweetness. Nice, roasted and spicy schwarzbier. In short: brown wort bread with Christmas spices and raisins.

(Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm, 11 Jan 2008) Dark brown colour with ruby hints, frothy beige head. Malty, slightly roasted nose with notes of dark rye bread. Malty taste with dark rye bread, chocolate and and a hint of cocoa. Fairly dry with balanced bitterness. Nice and balanced dunkel, but it doesn’t really rock my world.

Clear, deep brown body. Off-white head. Nice, moderately bitter, smoked aroma. Moderately bitter flavour. Very dry mouthfeel (not a hoppy drieness, just very dry).

From tap. Pours dark brown with an orange glare and a lacing off-white head. Aroma is dried fruity, roasted malt an a solid note of liqourice. Mild butterish flavour with a solid roasted malt base. Dark breadish impression. Butterish and liqourice finish.

Getreidig-malziger Antrunk, trocken. Test vom 26.10.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,11,11,10,8,11 - 10,50
