Small white head over deep golden beer. Mostly dry grainy, but with a surprising aroma, remindful of freshly grind coffeebeans and toast, but very volatile, only grassy aromas left behind. Dry-ish, grassy and leafy flavour; rainwater, pretty dull. Rainwater quality, if well carbonated, light body. Starts not bad, but peters out afterwards. Many thanks to Lenka, Tomăš and Peter.

bottle, pours light gold with a medium frothy white head. Aroma is nice and full of Sazz. Crisp pale malts and hay flavors that end with a classic peppery hop bite. Dry and highly drinkable....I liked this.

0.5 l can courtesy of Doggythedog, thanks for sharing! It poured pale golden body with smaller to medium sized head. Weak grassy aroma, a bit malty in the background. Slightly bitter flavor, grassy and lemony hoppy, flowery malty. A bit thinner in body. Has fine and quite long pleasantly dry finish. Could be better, it’s quite ordinary, but it’s well made and fine enough.

0.5l bottle brought from Slovakia by a friend (thanks a lot Ivana!), shared with heavyPoured a golden body with a small thick white head that went away at a medium pace. Fresh herbal hoppy nose, Simple watery but nice taste, lemony herbal hopiness, a bit light, and that’s pretty much it. Drinkable, a bit too light and simple, one dimensional but nice.

Canned (5.0%). Clear golden, rich airy head. Fruity nose with a touch of hay. Medium sweet and medium bodied with rounded mouthfeel. Some vague smokey notes, some late bitterness. Decent, no more.

My bottle says Topvar Premium Pils Beer. 11 oz green bottle. Quite a beauty, has a gold foil tux. The pour reveals a fresh yeast but not quite skunk aroma. Clears to a clean impression that’s almost candy like. Ubiquitous pale yellow american lager color. No head. The taste is quite alcohol in palate tho it is only 5%. Industrial alcohol bite that reminds me of american malt liquor. Quite different than anything I can recall. Decent tingly carbonation. Comes across almost like wine at times. At times syrupy and smooth and then again readily coarse. Not as good as Budweiser Budvar (Czechvar) 12°. Probably on par with Pilsner Urquell .

Bottle: Sweet grainy (barley)-malty nose with a touch of honey; mild sweetish-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied; sweet-honey in the delicate malty-bitter aftertaste. Unspectacular, but pleasant. Quite good - by slovakian standards.............
