Bottle. Pours hazy pale golden with stable white head. Clear aroma of yeast and hops. Bitter, hoppy pnset, replaced by sweetish, yeasty and malty notes. Moderately bitter finish. A decent Zwickel.

Candied malt and booze in aroma. Finishes a little sweet with average carbonation. Pours clear orange with good head and lacing. Not very familiar with style, but this isn’t much different from a lot of lighter German lagers Sours on long term aftertaste. Cloying texture. Bottle.

Bottle - pour is turbid orange - lively carbonation with a well-sustained head - aroma is juicy, sweet, doughy, lightly wheaty - simple but pleasant - low carbonation - fairly creamy texture - flavor is muddled doughy yeastiness, moderate acidity, over ripe apples - finish is lightly bitter, with more lingering doughy yeast - serviceable, but kinda disappointing.

Bottle. Brown bread, sweet lemony tea, barley malt aroma. Cloudy straw gold with a small white head. Sweet bready/yeasty barley malt flavor with the barest hint of hop presence in the finish. This stuff goes down very easily.

5L mini keg I drank with friends during my wedding. Making it simple I am just going to steal a line from mj (read more of his ratings for further detail without the whole type of glass element): a simple, sweet, yeasty German-type lager. Earthy, bready, toasty, yet a German lager yeast without off flavors. However, I enjoyed the straight forward simplicity of the beer, as well as the unfiltered aspect. Hard to find a similar product without the oxidation or skunkiness. Maybe that is why my bar is set lower.

330ml gravicask with pasta at some Trattoria in Venice. Golden clear body, bubbles stick to the glass, creamy head and nice lacing. Honey, hops, peach and nectarine aroma. Honey, flowers, some butter, fruit and cheese in taste. A bit metallic, maybe because of the container? It was actually the only beer they served in this place.(18.05.13)

Strong dark honey and kibble aroma. Cloudy amber, thin head. Medium body. Less rich on the palate, but same honey and kibble flavor with an additional lemony tang. Low hop presence.
