Tap @ Brewery. Pours amber copper with a creamy White head. Nutty and Dark fruity with an underlaying dusty cellar note. Overripe Dark fruit. Dates and raisin. Its 29 december and this is gone. A shame.

500 ml bottle from Landbierparadies, bb 04/2018.
Copper-brown, clear body, with a big, stable, fluffy, lacing, beige head.
Aroma of dark bread, toast, caramel, cocoa, grains, dark fruits, some honey.
Tastes similar, with more grains.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes toasty, spicy, medium roasty, bready, grainy, a bit sweet, with cocoa, dark chocolate.

Very nice. Really quaffable and well balanced, with lovely cocoa-like dark malt notes throughtout and just enough caramelic sweetness and some spiciness. Great, characterful dark Bock.

Unclear, ruby red colored, medium off white head, lasting and creamy. Aroma is malty, caramel, some fruit, herbal notes, mold and bread. Taste is medium sweet caramel, malt, bit toasted, quite moldy and bready, some low+ herbal bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation. Devil take the mold!

Draught at the brauhaus
Beautiful dark amber color; creamy head. The aroma is a bit dusty, and perfumy. The caramel flavor of this beer is richer than many other Bocks, with some sweetness; nevertheless there is some dusty character that I don’t get; in the final there is even a trace of bad coffee, and candies; and light boozy character. Enjoyable because of the body, but somehow strange. Confused.

50cl Bottle from De Bierkoning. Clear reddish amber colour, off white head. Aroma of sweet rye, bread, caramel, sugar. Flavour onset is plastic, malts, rye, later on nice toasted and roasted malts, bitter light roasted and hoppy finish. Light to medium bodied. Not great.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Warm amber golden with tiny, floating impurities and a beige head. Sweet aroma of roasted malt and butter. Quite full-bodied, roasted malt with a lightly fusty edge. Quite bitter in the finish. 040409
