Bottle, 7.5%. Fruity aroma, some grassy hops. Almost clear chestnut colour. The flavour is malty at first, slightly caramelly. Turns to a slightly rough bitterness as is common for Bocks. A bit creamy, but also a little unclean.

Grasig-hopfiger Abgang, mittelmalzig. Interessant! Danke an MoritzF! Test vom 28.3.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,11,11,11,13,11 - 10,90

Bottle: Clear, chestnut-amber coloured, mid-sized, slowly diminishing off-white fluffy head; sweet caramel, toasted malt and traces of roasted malt and hops in the nose; robust bitter-sweet flavour, medium to full bodied; dark-malty and bitter-hoppy finish with a light touch of alcohol in the warming aftertaste. Quite well crafted.......

(bottle) Clear and bright mahogany colour with a fluffy, beige foamy head. Moderately sweet roast-malty aroma with caramel, chocolate, liquorice and subtle fruity notes. Quite bitter flavour, full bodied with a moderate carbonation. Roast-malty taste with caramel, distinctive notes of chocolate/cacao and present herbal hops; finishes pretty dry for the usual dark Bock, also quite bitter and hoppy. The alcohol is well-integrated. Very good.

Bottled. Hazy reddish copper coloured with small white head. Aroma is malts, big time. Also some raisins alcohol and caramel in it. The flavour is the same, with the alcohol giving a nice warming touch.

Bottle at London Drinker BF 2006. Thanks to Duff and our hero Olaf for recommending this one. Chestnut colour with beige head. Toffee aroma, good in mouth, with lasting drying hop. Good malts in mouth too. I like this. Very drinkable
