Bottle found in La Paz, Bolivia. Okay white head and yellow body. Aroma of corn and hay. Flavour is citrusy hay with a medium finish. Just okay, I would hope for better from a German brew.

500ml on tap at Bavarian Beer cafe, Moore Park (before Roosters game). Sweet malt nose. Pale yellow beer with small diminishing white head. Spritzy mineral water feel. A little bitter at first then malt takes over. Finish is a little too sweet but it’s over quickly. Designed to be consumed quickly and often.

Light gold, white head. Malt aroma, grains, hay. Taste again sweetish Munich malt, grainy, grass and hay. Low amount of bitterness. Light to medium body. Nothing spectacular but very nicely done and hits the spot every time. Should not have tried it again... Nostalgia is a damnable thing.

500ml bottle. Pours straw colour with a small white head that fizzes away in seconds. Aroma is grass and malts. Sweet taste with a slightly bitter finish. I had wanted to try this for a long time, but it turned out to be quite a boring beer really.

Bottle as premium lager from Jusco on sale at 250 yen (best before 12/2014). Upon opening and serving in a lager glass it pour a very pale gold with a thin soapy white head. Alas it was lightstruck with one of the skunkiest aromas I’ve smelled in awhile(why do they use green bottles?), once you get past that you get a grainy sweet pale malt aroma with possibly a hint of residual hoppiness. On the palate it is light, sharp and crisp with a dry finish. The taste is dusty dry crackers, a bit of sweetness then a bitter skunky finish with somewhat of a sour aftertaste. It’s obviously gone off but I am guessing fresh on a hot day it would be a passable lager(probable 3-3.1).
