Review according to BJCP2008 guidelines (style 1D). Bottle 50 cl - Batch 17.02.2104. AROMA: sweet malt aroma with a slight background DMS. low hop aroma. APPEARANCE: yellow clear with a thin white head with average retention. TASTE: sweet taste that lingers into the finish. low bitterness and low hop flavour. no esters. PALATE: medium-light body, medium-low carbonation. OVERALL: an average bulk munich helles and the original style created at Spaten brewery.

Clear golden with a fairly big quickly dissipating white head. Aroma is light grains, pale malt, seed, touch of bitter hops. Taste is clean with simple pale malt, barley and cooked vegetables. Some bitter grassy hops. Finishes dry and wattery. Light to medium body, medium carbo, slight dry and crisp texture. Refreshing.

On tap at ACOM Hotel, Haar. Clear golden colour, white head. Aroma of strong lager, corn, sweet stuff, light malty, some bread. Flavour is quite sweet, corn, rice, light malty, honey, only ever so slightly bitter finish. Light-bodied. Not very good, lacks a whole lot of hop-bite.

Aroma: light sweetness, a drop of grassy hops, a hint of toasted bread.
Taste: delicate and clean hop bitterness, dry/light acid, sulf?
Quite a clean and decent helles.
