Our take on a classic style of beer. A blend of fresh and aged Flemish brown Ale. 60% of the blend was aged for over 1,5 years in a red wine foudre and after that the beer was aged for another year in bordeaux wine barriques. We also blended in a few bourbon barrel aged brown ale to give the blend a hint of American oak

Draught @ MBCC 2023, Copenhagen. Red Session. Pours unclear amber with a small white head. Slight balsamic, wood, dark fruit, red fruit. Dry, tasty and elegant.

MBCC 2023. Dark amber. Funky aroma with hints of chocolate. Malty and fruity tart flavour with a hint of sulphur.

Bottle pour at MBCC 2023, pours a fairly clear dark orange amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out woody notes, toasted bready malt, and a touch of balsamic. Flavour is bone dry, with lots of wood, oak, tart fruits, and a touch of bready notes. Woody, oaky, and dry. Very tasty.

MBCC. Hazy brown without head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and red wine. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate acidic. Dry and moderate acidic finish. 060523

Bottle. Hazy orange color with white head. Aroma is tobacco, bready, mild grains, earthy funk. Taste is tobacco, leather, grainy, chewy. Oily mouthfeel, medium carbonation. Fun, but on the more earthy side of things.
