Bottle. Sweet chocolate toffee wort aroma. Dark brown color with small head. Very sweet toffee malt/wort flavor - way under attenuated. Might have been a really good beer if it fermented a bit longer.

50cl bottle @ Germany. Pours dark brown with a small stable creamy head. Nose is sweet and syrupy. Rye-bread, sugar and a little bread. Medium bodied. Lacks the roast and dryness of a good dunkel. No caramel - just sugar and rye-bread. Not good.

Bottle, from trade with Papsoe. It pours a clear, ruby to dark brown body, topped by a small, beige head. Caramel, some wort and maltyness on the nose, quite boring. Sweet flavor with dried fruits, maltyness, prunes, some bitterness, caramel and wort. Medium to thin body. Wort and caramel in the finish, with some bitterness. Too sweet and worty, definately not my dunkel. Finishing one bottle is more than enough. (090228)
