# 4706; 8/2025. Mouldy and caramel aroma. Clear brown body; tiny beige head. Caramel, fruity, date, sweet; sweet and cellar finish. Medium body, medium carbonation. Very simple and very sweet Munich Dunkel. 0,5 l, bottle, Getränkemarkt, Žitawa (Upper Lusatia, Germany).

Bottle from Leipzig if i remember. Dark brown, nice moderate head. Nose of damp forest floor. Pretty sweet and malty on the tongue, one dimensional flavor, very earthy with a hint of bitterness. Alright. Points reduced for using saccharine. Hrm

Bottle. Ruby brown, offwhite head. Light papery malt, bready roast, a hint chocolate, wood, one dimensional chocolate finish, a hint fruity, not much oud bruin about it i feel. The sweetener does not help. Improves tremendously when drink together with the fresh Szechuan pepper from Daves garden.

Very dark brown color. Brown sugary aroma with caramel. Sweet flavor, thin and sugary. Coffee and caramel. A slight bitterness due to the use of saccharine. A traditional East German beer, but certainly not my favorite.

Okay beer. But it has a strong flavour of unfermented beer. Like it is sweet like wort before adding the hops. Netto Dresden (Oct 2019) I feel the same after repeated tries, it’s not one of the good dunkels
